HIHI!!!!! i finally managed to do IT. Dont get the wrong idea! i mean managed to blog here. yup. anyway, i think the chalet/camp out , wadsoeva was just a learning experience so ppl dont bear grudges against your teammates. k.

2. we may be going to do it at the boarding school before/after training.
3. many ppl would be away and not be able to make it. from next week onwards

Been down with bloody bad flu lately. Can hardly talk.

Doctor says if it goes on for more than one week i have to be admitted to the hospital.

blogger is down this days arh? i have to click like 10 times at least to type a miserable post. maybe not so miserable... but u get my point.

i have to agree with mommy abt wad she said in the last post. abt coachie's hopes and ours. i seriously want NYSB to reach the gold standards we have achieved this past years. and i am really glad to 'work our asses off' together. but softball is abt teams. therefore we have to be a team. i hope we can become a team which has minimal disputes and effective communication. tt sounds real chim doesn't it =P

but it's not chim. we can do it. but how as mommy says. i suggest we have another FUN meeting when we can talk abt stuff. a meeting where everybody is there to relax and joke and play. in fact, if possible, i suggest maybe once every two weeks? is that a lot to ask for?

ok. i finally used my OWN com at home. it's fixed... just spent 10 min reading the last few posts. i admit tt the team is getting a lil more 'concentrated', as in forming cliques. i am sorry i didn't pay more attention to u guys. but rest assured tt i am trying my best not to neglect u guys too much. remember, we must be NYSB and not the list of cliques.

Ok, so i cannot say whether our team is falling apart or what cos i dun know what was going on before and after or now. well, i'll try and care more about the team next year. promises. well, bye now.

Hello, terrapinny here. just apologise for not really taking notice about everybody in the team, something like dun care attitude. confesses: i just concentrated on myself during this whole year (meaning softball) and not really taking notice of what is going on with the team around me. well, i'll try and be more involved and noticing more about the team.
Really can't say whether our team is falling apart cos everything seems to be normal to me so sorry. not much help.

i think i'll have to agree with u tt our team IS kinda lyk falling apart. some of us are afraid to express our true feelings bcos we fear. as for the cliques part, i'll have to disagree. in a place/team/group/class of many ppl, there is BOUND TO BE cliques. there are some ppl involved in more than one clique. and if u are talking about cliques in trng, i wouldn't mind changing. may be we can have smth lyk u aint allowed to throw with the same person on consecutive trngs. and the running. i think the batting is fairly ok cos coachie looks over that. but outside softball, we still have our own lives. we have frens who are closer to us than others. i dun think u should fault us on that. so, as for trngs, i will change and i hope the others will too.

Okay right. I'm in no position to address this really, but i felt that i had to.

Our team is falling apart. We get mad at each other over the most minor things. The most insignificant and irrelavant things. But even then we stay mad at each other for very long times. Why? What for? In the end we're still a team. We still play as a team. We all have the same goal: The Gold. And we let minor things break us up. There are cliques forming, and we're no longer the team that was so close. We used to play and joke a lot. But now, seldom is the occasional joke heard even.

Seriously, i don't think anyone of us can say that we like the team this way. if msOng or Coach were to see us like this, what do you think we'll say? We'll probably get team talk. But we all know why we're like in this state. To make our dream happen, we'll have to work together, towards our goal. The only thing that we desire. SiLVeR HuRts, and i'm sure no one wants that again. If not for yourself, then be a team for the team. Don't let yourself down. Don't let the team down. Don't let Coachie down. Lots of teams and such have fallen over the years. Like Man Utd. All because they lacked the spirit that we used to have.

Team spirit. How does one define team spirit. Spirit is a feeling. Something inside all of us. We can use things like team lunches to reinforce our spirit, but in the end, if we don't feel, they won't make a difference. My class has lunches a lot. But we never have been close enough to reveal our true feelings. Our team was on our way to that mark. I know the team is so much closer than many others. But we've hit this one obstacle that we can't seem to get past. We can get past it. Together. But we;ve all got to strive for it. No one wants to see the team fall apart.

Once spirit is built up, it is hard for it to fade away. We'll all be as close then even if we all left for different countries and turned up again together in 14 thousand years. That is true spirit. Solid if you might say. Softball is a team sport. And it needs a lot of spirit. And spirit will help you build your confidence.

I've been very vague all this while. And now i shall specify. I apologise to anyone who gets offended. This is my opinion. You can just flame me. Doesn't really matter. But we have to clear this up soon. Before we fall any deeper into this hole and can't pull ourselves up again. Unless we work as a team.
